It's no secret, children are wild about animals, and they are sure to be wild about this 7 books series. While organized using the alphabet, this is no "A is for Alligator" series of books. Each of the animals in this book are both rare and fascinating. It is unlikely any child (or adult) has heard about all these truly amazing, and often endangered species.
Forget the rest, this is the best. These rare creatures are represented with vibrant pictures as well as habitat information, behaviors, facts and oddities unique to the sea life, mammals, birds and insects expertly chosen to be included in this series.
5.0 out of 5 stars
Very Informative! This is an extremely informative book and I didn't even know about some of these animals! The pictures are very helpful and otherwise I would have no idea what they even are.
Great! The book was great and informational, plus I learned a lot of new stuff, like different types of birds to what they eat and wingspans, jump-height, if they can fly, and "special abilities" like the bird that can change the color of its neck depending on its mood.
Take the Australian
Quokka
for example. This animal is perhaps the cutest animal ever to have existed. It has been described by many as a living Teddy Bear. It has no fear of people and interacts freely. But this species also has a sinister side. When it feels threatened by a predator, the Quokka will throw its offspring at the predator as a sacrifice, as the parent escapes to safety. Learn more about the Quokka and other equally rare and fascinating creatures. Each book in this series is offered in a full color, black and white and Kindle versions to meet everyone's preference and cost considerations. All children should have access to this amazing educational and entertaining book series.
A&B OF THE SEA part one and part two
The mysterious depths of the oceans have been explored to bring you 26 of the most fascinating sea animals to have lived. Learn how they adapt to survive in harsh environments. Discover special skills they have and why scientists study these animals to improve the lives of humans. Sadly, many of these amazing creatures are endangered and these books may be your only chance to see them before they are gone.
A&B OF THE SKY part one and part two
Explore the world of birds, whether they can fly or merely jump. These creatures of the sky will delight kids of all ages with their unique adaptations and abilities. As habitats are destroyed, many of these beautiful animals are finding survival more difficult and sadly are at risk of extinction.
A&B OF THE GROUND
Children are fascinated by creepy crawlies (insects, worms and spiders) while some adults may not. It is important for both kids and parents to understand that our own survival often relies on these small but amazing animals.
A&B OF THE LAND part one and part two
Explore the corners of our Earth and the amazing land animals you probably never knew existed. The fascinating facts are sure to peak any child's interest in the life that lives on the land.
