George has trained all his life to become a knight. He is skilled in combat and is an excellent horseman. Now that he is 17, he is setting off to challenge a menace that has been harassing people in the valley for as long as he can remember. Many a brave lad has made this attempt before but never returned to tell the tale. George, now Sir George, sets off on a quest that will take him through the dark woods and to the top of forbidding Black Mountains where the fierce dragon lives. Along the way, Sir George has nerve rattling encounters that test his courage and resolve. He meets creatures he would never have expected, did not even know existed! Will he achieve his goal? Will he return with stories of bravery and victory? Or will his fate be the same as those who ventured before him?
