In the small town of New Windsor, MD an aging grandmother finds comfort every day in her two grandchildren. She calls her sons and their families, who live a mile away on either side of her farm, the Country Mice (farmer son) and the City Mice (stockbroker son). She dries flowers, gardens and enjoys her grandchildren. Trudy has published two other books; We Missed Dessert (Maple Creek Media, 2012), a commentary on the family's journey thru her late husband's years with early Alzheimer's and Polly the Polled Hereford (Maple Creek Media, 2014) about her oldest granddaughter, Trudy, who is a graduate of McDaniel College with a major in English and Psychology.
