What is Love? Divine, Physical, Spiritual... The Cadillac Diet is an exploratory search for what God wishes for us on Earth. The tale is told through the vehicle of a 40-something man and his teen son who move to a small Florida town to start over. Their arrival coincides with an image of Jesus appearing at the exact spot at which the first mass in the new world took place over 400 years ago. A series of events reveals that "He" will appear again. The ensuing media frenzy pairs him with a dynamic female reporter sent to cover the story. In the circus-like atmosphere that develops they encounter religious charlatans and the faithful curious. At least one murder is attributed to the ensuing struggle for the rights to Jesus' foretold second coming. Also, there are some really great recipes!
