D Day and the Canadians are coming. The Canadian 3rd Division lands on Juno Beach to be faced by the 12th SS (Hitlerjugend) Division. But there is a secret race between the Allies and Nazi Germany to develop the atomic bomb. And there is a traitor in the Canadian forces intent upon betraying the Allies nuclear research. Detective Inspector Lionel Chaffey of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is embedded in a small troop of infantry francticallly trying to track down the traitor as the chaos of the first month of the Battle of Normandy rages around him.
