The book reviews the current church in the West and the falling respect it has in society. The Church has lost its saltiness. God identified many problems to the authors. He wants these corrected. Essentially the Church has lost the connection to the head; the Lord Jesus Christ. The eason for the loss of saltiness is a progressive and marked secularization of the Church over the last 400 years. The Church no longer operates in the spiritual realm; or to very little extent. The body of Christ needs to restore, under God's direction, the connection between head and body. God's people will need to train to be led by His Spirit. The training methods are discussed. After individuals do the training, they can then be led by the Spirit of God to correct all of the other problems.and lead the Church out of the secularized condition to become a glorious Church. God's plan for achieving this change, on a large scale, is a grass-roots effort by the many individuals; and the pastors who are willing to be involved.
