the standard wise-guy kid character that was popular in comics. He would find unique ways
to create mayhem and even more creative methods to get out of it. Between 1956 and
1958 Magazine Enterprises published seven issues of The Brain, primarily on a quarterly
basis. What makes The Brain memorable was Dan DeCarlo's artwork. DeCarlo drew two to
three stories an issue. Although The Brain was a departure from the good girl art DeCarlo is
most known for, the series is full of laugh and a lot fun.
