RED SEAL COMICS VOLUME ONE is overflowing with action and humor. Follow the exploits of crime
fighter The Black Dwarf with art by Paul Gattuso. There is plenty of cowboy and western action with
The Gay Desperado by George Tuska. There is fantasy with Nemo In Adventureland by Bob McCay and
star reporter Lucky Coyne is on the city beat while crusading social worker Kitty Kelly investigates bad
meat. Lady Satan battles werewolves and Sky Chief prevents a jewel smuggling ring using his flying
submarine. Plus there is a Veiled Avenger saga which was featured in Frederic Wertham's SEDUCTION
OF THE INNOCENT and there are humor stories with Prehistoric Pete featuring pencils by Joe Beck &
inks by Otto Eppers.
Red Seal Comics issues #14-18 were published by Chesler/Dynamic between 1945 and 1947. Starting
with Issue #19 Red Seal Comics switched companies and was moved to Superior Publishers Limited
where it would continue for another five issues. RED SEAL COMICS VOLUME ONE collects the Chesler
series and volume two will contain the Superior issues.
THIS BOOK IS AVAILABLE IN BOTH HARDCOVER AND TRADE PAPERBACK EDITIONS
AS WELL AS IN FULL COLOR AND BLACK & WHITE.
