Shortly after WW2, a childless couple from a small village in the Moorlands set out to London to adopt a child. The desire to rectify that one missing aspect of their lives results in an unforeseen tragedy. Just over a decade later, a young couple on a night out in Surrey are confronted with a traumatic experience that will have far reaching effects.
