"The day a Show King was King". A Show King pigeon was the best bird at the Hawaii Pet Show Spring Event.This book is centered around that day in March where over a hundred pigeons were judged and a Show King pigeon was the Best in Hawaii.The Hawaii Pet Show along with the Hawaii Pigeon Club and the Hawaii Roller Club met in Ewa Beach to discuss the June Event.We held a show along with our monthly meeting. Pictures in this book are of the Show entries.Show Kings, English Carriers, Volgas, Parlor Rollers, American Fantasy, Hungarian House Pigeon, Zitterhals, American Show Racers, Jacobins, Budapest tumblers were some of the pigeon breeds shown.Chickens were also at the show. Old English Game Bantams, Frizzle Serama, Frizzle Cochins and baby Chicks were displayed.This book is the first in a series of books yet to be published for the promotion of our hobby.Pigeons, Chickens, Reptiles, Fish and Small animals are a few pets we raise. We will highlight a certain type of pet in future books. Teaching everyone the basic skills needed to raise a pet and keeping the pet happy and healthy.I hope you enjoy this book.Proceeds from the sale of our books will go toward our Hawaii Pet Show event.
