"The Day The Lord Hath Made: A Scripture, a Poem and a Prayer for Every Week of the Year," is an inspirational collection of scriptures, poems and prayers spread out over the year. This first edition, "Winter" offers a scripture, a poem and a prayer for every week of October, November and December. Similar to "The Daily Bread," "The Day The Lord Hath Made" is meant to provide readers with an uplifting and encouraging word to help get each and every week off to a bleesed. start. "The Day The Lord Hath Made" was conceived and written by Linda Purvis of Greenville, NC, an Evangelist at Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church, also in Greenville. For years the Lord led Linda to write these little poems and though she had no idea of what would ever become of them, she continued to write. Until finally, the Holy Spirit led her to write this book.
