Not everyone is fortunate enough to find their true love at a young age. At least, This was the case for Mia and Liam, two teenagers who fell in love at first sight right outside of their visiting church. With time, they build a friendship that turns into so much more than just friendship. Even though they were both teenagers, the four-year age gap between them was significant, so much that it interfered with their relationship. Afraid of his parents' opinion of Mia, Liam has no choice but to break Mia's heart this way, driving her away from him and ultimately contributing to her decision to leave her homeland, the Dominican Republic. After arriving in the States only 3 years after Mia, Liam spends the next seven years focusing on building his empire without needing a female company and becomes a very successful businessman whose life changed the second he ran into Mia 11 years later. Liam promised himself years ago that if fate brought them back together, he would never let her go again. So he decides to do everything he can to win her back, including saving her from her trauma and restoring her trust in him. The only problem? Liam is more than just a regular businessman. When he was 20 years old, he was recruited by the McAllisters, who offered him the opportunity to be the leader he was born to be. So, how will Mia react to finding out the boy she fell madly in love with when she was a teenager is now the leader of La Famiglia, the Italian mob?
