"The End of the World... Again," series is an epic adventure of interwoven tales intended to take the reader outside the limits of everyday life with glimpses into the near future where social dogma and substance abuse are found wanting to deal with a geomagnetic pole reversal event. Each book in the series follows a diverse set of characters through the trauma when their world goes wrong. Book six, "The Lost Scroll," comes full circle by returning to the Neolithic culture and their struggle to cope with a magnetic pole reversal event. They are unwittingly aided in their effort by the beacons and doctrine left by the Alliant Church of God (ACoG); however, they must struggle to regain the stability of their gene pool. Due to inbreeding, the children of the tribe are vulnerable to corrupting influences and a conflict develops between tribal factions. The 'Golden Child' foretold in their sacred scrolls struggles reluctantly to understand his duty and the meanings of the writings. He devises a potion to sedate the wrongdoers but it causes all who take it to question their perception and faith. The potion dominates their thoughts and results in dependence and reliance. In an effort to rid themselves of the remaining potion, the conflicting characters inadvertently transform the potion into a benign substance that reveals the true source of their newfound faith in God.
