As directed by Christian Vuissa, the religious drama Errand of Angels dramatizes the work of two women of the Latter Day Saints, Sister Taylor (Erin Chambers and Sister Young (Rachel Emmers), attempting to spread the Mormon belief system among residents of the country of Austria. At the outset of the tale, Taylor struggles relentlessly with the chasm between her own LDS principles, and a harsh reality - the reality that makes it such a challenge for her to care about Sister Keller (Bettina Schwarz), a slightly irritating fellow missionary with a Teutonic authoritarian bent and a no-nonsense attitude. In time, however, Taylor receives the opportunity to spend a period with another woman in a neighboring city (Emmers), whom she is assigned to tutor and instantly befriends; as a result of this companionship, she begins to imbibe principles of altruistic devotion that will help her reach out to the difficult Keller.
