This is the second of two volumes reprinting the historical writings of William G. Wolfe with useful content additions and commentary added by editor and publisher Richard L. Booth. This Volume 2 contains a digitally reformatted version of Wolfe's 171 historical "Sidelights" newspaper articles, published from 1944 to 1947, written to supplement his original 1943 book, Stories of Guernsey County, Ohio. Both Wolfe's original book and his subsequently written newspaper articles are now in the public domain. Both volumes contain a new editor's preface. Historic and contemporary photographs have been added to further supplement the historic newspaper articles. Additionally, an extensive "All Names Index" compiled from more than 23,000 individual name entries, covering both volumes of this two-volume set, is included to facilitate historical and genealogical research.
