Elaine and Katie, who had been closest friends for a lifetime, had heard all the tales of the run-down shack in the woods. Teenagers in the neighbourhood had dared to spend the night in the enigmatic grasp of the shack for years. Every time, it was as if by clockwork, one or two of them went missing. The girls, however, weren't sure if they should trust the stories that the people had made up to explain disappearances. There may be more logical causes for the missing youths in the neighbourhood, such as drug-rehab-sent children or unreported family matters. It wasn't as though Elaine and Katie didn't know how the adults in town operated. The stories about the shack on the outskirts of town had been started by them.
Curiously but grudgingly, the girls acquiesce when they are dared to spend the night "shacking up" with their boyfriends in the storied location. They quickly discover that they ought to have followed the advice. However, nobody could have foreseen the actual horrors the group of four would encounter inside the hut. They decide to stick together and their only goal is to survive the night and reach daybreak. However, it won't be simple. It may even be impossible.
Will the most recent bunch of impressionable teenagers make it through the night or succumb to the phantom in the woods? Or will the survivors merely be the luckiest?
