Our story begins in a crumbling future for earth where humanity is on the brink of near extinction and the rise of a new found planet has caused excitement and rebellion to sweep across the people of Earth. Three years after the war of the worlds has ended; the earth is a desolate wasteland controlled by prisoners who've turned it into their playground. The government has turned raw and dangerous to the public eye after a murdering on live television at their leaders hands and they will do anything to have the trust back, whether that means gaining it or taking it by force. Shea Killinger is nineteen, highly lethal, and has been forced into not only adulthood but a parenting role with her two siblings, Jay and Kip, and her best friend who lives with them, Max, after her parent's tragic death to the governments reign. Because of her sisters medical condition though she must get them to the next shuttle departing for the new found planet known only as Grenon on time or it could very well mean the end for little Kip. As if this isn't enough to take in, on their first day of departure they have a confrontational run-in with Benut, a young convict accused for the crime of murder he didn't commit. If the five of them don't face their challenges head on they won't be able to make it to New York from Wyoming within the month and save not only Kip's life but all of theirs.
