The Incognito King: Historical Fiction of Jesus' First Thirty Years
By: Linda Knox
While we have little known record of Jesus' first 30 years,
The Incognito King
explores what Jesus' life could have been like beginning with His birth in the manger in Bethlehem until He left home to begin His public ministry.
As historical fiction, Linda Knox's novel speculates about his relationship with his earthly parents, Mary and Joseph, and his siblings. After all, although His siblings didn't understand they were living with Jesus Christ, the Messiah and King, they still had many valuable lessons to learn.
About the Author
Linda Knox is a retired third-grade school teacher who is still involved in education as a tutor, school board member, and Sunday School teacher. She is the author of three biographies, one poetry book, and a children's book.
is her first novel.
A native of Emerson, Arkansas, Knox now resides in Haynesville, Louisiana, with her husband, Larry. They have one daughter, Shea Kinkade, and two grandchildren, Kassie and Seth. Knox enjoys reading, writing, cooking, gardening, and traveling and remains actively involved in various community and church projects in her area.
