Sixteen Europeans caught in the Budapest airport during the Russian invasion, struggle to make it safely to freedom after they are trundled onto a bus and sent away to an unknown destination in this gripping, all-star ensemble piece. They are taken to the Austrian border. Unfortunately though safety is very close it is inaccessible thanks to the presence of a Soviet army officer. He alone can decide who may or may not cross the border to freedom. Things get more sticky when he finds himself attracted to one of the passenger. Unfortunately, she is attracted to a fellow passenger who is a Hungarian Freedom Fighter disguised as a British citizen.
