t's Christmas Eve, the most magical day of the year, but Ginni's heart is breaking. For this is the first Christmas without mom. As Ginni's melancholy Christmas Eve unfolds, strange things begin to happen. Lights flash on and off, music plays by itself, an owl circles around and around the house, all of which lead the entire family outside. What they discover under the maple tree will change all of their lives forever. But what happened that Christmas Eve is not the only mystery needing to be solved. While at home on Christmas break, the entire family begins to have small items go missing. Mysteries abound and Ginni, while still trying to cope with her grief, must do what she can to make sense of their mysterious Christmas Eve discovery as well as to figure out who is the sneaky thief.
