Summer has just begun in the year 1402, and it heats up quickly as every city, village, and town in the world of Esealreandra is burned to the ground. Someone must venture behind enemy lines to retrieve the Crystal of Aromia, a magical crystal that grants one wish to five people every one-hundred years to wish away evil and the possibility of war. Those chosen are only teenagers, recently graduated from school. Orion, a man, Michacela, a wizard, and Lucindell, an elf, must take on deadly creatures who somehow know their every move. The trio is faced with daily attacks, near-fatal injuries, and hopelessness. They all understand the possibility of certain death, but they aren't prepared to face the fact that reaching their 15th birthdays might not be an option.
