To say Jack Kendrik's life was exciting would be a bit farfetched. Left with his grandmother at the young age of 11, by his dad after his mom's death, was never his choice. With each day fading into the next, years pass by, leaving Jack wondering what comes next.
Then suddenly, only two weeks after his 17th birthday, the father he barely knows, reappears. After more than a few fights in school, the decision is made. Jack's father forces him to accompany him on an archeological dig to the Middle East. To excavate a city that was said to never exist. With little to no choice, Jack reluctantly goes along. But nothing on this excavation is as it seems. Jack is thrown into the fight of his life.
