Christy had been a healthy woman all her life until one day, everything started going terribly wrong! Month after month she consulted with doctors, nutritionists and alternative healers to discover why her health was failing. Nobody could tell her what was wrong until seven months later a "third-line physician" ordered tests and she discovered she had Stage III Ovarian Cancer. She decided that her "attitude" would make or break her journey ahead so she chose to incorporate the 12 spiritual principles she had been studying for 30 years and they made all the difference in the world! During treatment she felt prompted to create art to give her comfort and soon thereafter chapter titles and ideas began appearing in her mind as well. She wrote everything down and before the end of her sixth treatment she had created an entire book of her journey, complete with inspirational clay and watercolor art. It is her intention that "The Little Book of Hope" will give others encouragement and techniques to walk through their journeys, whether they are a disease, cross-roads in life or whatever challenge they may encounter.
