Jacob Townsend inherits a two hundred year old map to the location of a gold mine in the Sierra mountains. However during a business trip to Caracas, Venezuela, Jacob and his friend, Jessica's hotel rooms are burglarized. The only item missing is a copy of the map. On a piloted flight to Las Cristinas, their plane goes down in the jungles of Venezuela. They land in a river and trek through the wilderness. Hoping to find a village, instead they stumble into a cocaine manufacturer's hideout and are held captive. Will they make it back to civilization? And will Jacob's ancestor, Eliza's journal lead them to the gold mine in the Sierra Nevada mountains? Or will the mine be their final resting place?
