Allison Langley is a young woman with many deep-seated psychological problems. Abused as a child, she has dissociated with many of the horrid incidents that took place years ago. The turmoil of her childhood and adolescent years has been repressed, but now some of the terrors have started to surface. This, accompanied with the many attempts to drown her memories in alcohol, have taken their toll on her fragile psyche. She finds that she must get some sort of relief from this before it destroys her life, so she confides in Dr. Raymond Gearhardt, a psychiatrist, who she finds may be the one whom actually destroys her life. She is in excruciating emotional pain and turmoil and is searching for a savior. Seemingly lost in a world of strangers, Allison feels as if no one understands or can help.
In 1995 she came forward, through me, to help tell her story, but I feel that I must warn you that the actions accounted for herein are sometimes extremely brutal and graphic. Allison's story will kindle many emotions and feelings; the pain, the anguish, and even the love she has will be conveyed. For those who wish to experience, first hand, the mental and physical torture that one young woman could endure, Allison, and I alike, hope that this will enlighten you to the violence that takes place all too often in our twisted society. This is her story, The Re-creation of Allison Langley.
