The Resource Program: Surviving Against all Odds Learning disabilities are more common than you might think. While millions of children are diagnosed with it every day, so many spend their whole lives or school years undiagnosed. However, when the right diagnosis, treatment, and management techniques are provided to children, it can truly change their life for the better. And I am a living example of that. I got diagnosed with a learning disability in the fourth grade. At that moment, I felt like my life had stopped. Little did I know that this was truly when my life started, and I began to flourish. Today, as an adult I am an Army Veteran who still leads a successful career. I have had to work twice as hard for everything that I have achieved, but I am grateful for it all. The Resource Program that helped me cope with my learning disability has made me who I am today, and I want more people to know about the incredible benefits.
