Since the first self-help book I read -- and I have read quite a few -- I have always had the same problem. I would get distracted by the stories in them. I would read, and my mind would just wander, and I would start to think how I would have reacted to the situation I was reading about or how I would have tried something different. The problem is that as my mind was wandering (and wondering) I was still reading, and before you know it I would be three pages past. I literally had no idea what I had just read. It became more and more frustrating, so I got to the point where I asked if there were any books I could read that just go straight to the point! That is when I started to write my first guide. I wanted to be able to relate something I was going through, but not bore or go too deeply into it. We live in a world where we are looking for instant satisfaction, so this is what I came up with. I hope you can relate to some of the sections, and maybe one was able to spark within you the desire to actually make the change you have been wanting to make.
