I got a concern today, about our Nation: I am concerned because among the post modern movement there appears to be a buffet of spiritual nourishment but upon close examination what is being served is nothing but junk food, spoiled left over dishes and food that is not fit to serve our family dog named "lucy". I have several unanswered questions, and they are as follows: 1. Where are all of the Soul Physicians, the Chefs of eternal things? 2. Where are those who are called to prepare the Lords Table in the famine? 3. Who's responsible for cooking up the meals for the soul in this Nation? 4. How can a Nation as great as ours, be so malnourished when it comes to the word of God? 5. Is any one on watch? 6. Is any one spending time laboring over the pot, watching and guarding the ingredients that are being mixed into the food for our souls? I got a concern today, and my heart is heavy for the people of our country. Make no bones about it; America is in a famine, A Soul Food Dilemma. We need good Food that will feed and nourish people filling them up with the truth from God's word. We don't need another book about why the post modern culture is so hard to reach, or why the postmodern culture has lost their way! We know they have lost their way, we know they are hard to reach. What they need is authentic preaching and teaching, "Good Soul Food" to fill up their souls with the spiritual manna from heaven. (Can I get and amen?)
