In The Sovereignty of God, author Butros Tauk delves deep into various stories and Scriptures from the Old and New Testaments to bring to light the truth and reality of the one true King's sovereignty. Readers will relearn the promises made by God from His flooding of the world to the birth of His only Son. They will remember what it means to disobey Him through stories like Jonah. They will hear God's Word through modern men like Martin Luther King, Jr., and recent presidents. They will be reminded of the end times and the coming of the antichrist. Ultimately, all will recognize that God is sovereign. God has a plan for every living creature on this earth, and no soul in the physical or celestial worlds can change or stop the future the sovereign Lord has in store. Who will rise up, reach out, and follow Him to His plan's fruition? Butros Tauk was born in Lebanon, Beirut, and his parents immigrated to Argentina. In 1965, they moved to Brooklyn, NY. In 1979, Butros and his wife and two children moved to Orlando, Fl., where they reside to this day. In January 1980, he had an encounter with Jesus while at home, which changed his life radically. He loves helping out at his church in any way he can, especially distributing food and serving as an usher. He enjoys fishing for shrimp and watching soccer.
