Maddy and her friends were just getting use to life being normal again when Maddy is called to by an elemental for help. Now, they must try to maintain peace long enough to graduate high school. As they lose one of their own they must gather enough backing from the leaders to keep the dark elementals from exposing them to the world and starting a war. Maddy finds an unlikely ally that helps flip the control of power in their favor but, now a new threat is emerging and Luca and the others must find a way to keep Maddy out of the grips of the enemy.
