I was born in 2004. When I was 18 months old the doctors diagnosed me with Autism and a developmental delay. They told my parents I would probably never speak. After some time, a playroom was developed where my imagination could develop and grow. In time, with lots of family support I said my first word, "dog". I eventually got Scout. We would go camping and Scout always came a long on our adventures. I started writing stories because I was inspired by the one's grandma told me as a toddler. As I got older, I would remind grandma about the stories she told me. Grandma would tell me what a great memory I had, and she encouraged me to write my own stories. I decided to write my own stories about Scout because he is my best buddy.
