Twelve years have passed since the events of "The Star of the Yshan Kings." The rightful heir has been crowned as Emperor Garamax 19th of the Yshan Galactic Empire and rules over a peaceful and prosperous Empire. Now Charlie marries Kyle before he and Josh take their posts as newly-commissioned officers of the Imperial Fleet. Almost as soon as they have joined the ship, an invasion by an enemy fleet occurs, almost capturing the Empire's Capital World and only brilliant action by the battleship's crew and a new weapon designed by Charlie's father save the day, at least for now.
