Follow the amusing and often touching story of Ms. Molly's life, living on a game farm in Africa and surrounded by a menagerie of animals and people. Each chapter forms a story by itself, told in a simple narrative that matches the no-frills reality of life in Africa. The book also looks at the entire "I have a farm in Africa" concept from a rather different angle. All the "members of the cast" are introduced to the reader before the story begins with a young Ms. Molly, who arrives from Europe into a new and strange world and struggles with a new culture and a new language. She finds an unorthodox method of solving the language problem with the help of Mills & Boon. Finally, she meets Mr. K and the two of them settle down to a pretty normal life in the city. It is only after their last child is ready to fly the nest that they grab the chance to follow their dream and move to the bush. They take a job converting a large cattle farm into a game farm. It's pioneer stuff all the way and it is only with a generous portion of humor, and an even greater portion of love, that they survive the trials and tribulations of the first years. The reader will meet the animals, small and large, and will get to know all the people, who complete the picture. It's not all plain sailing and, being confronted by the problems of the surrounding community, Ms. Molly realizes that she has to do more than confining herself to life on the farm. After a few close and personal encounters she decides to take action.
