Kara's sacrifices to save Asgard are many, yet inadequate. The race is on to enhance her magic, secure Loki and restrain his writhing monster children. Accompanied by her trusty dragon, Kara and her Valkyrie friends face the perils of the Norse realms. Dangers lurk in the form of dark elves, dwarves, trolls, and a giant skeletal guardian of Helheim, to name a few. As if this isn't enough, Ratatoskr thrives in conveying insulting messages, striving to get under her skin, and deliver additional demands from Odin for her immediate attention.
