TITTENHURST PARK. VOL III. RINGO STARR & THE SHEIKH. Following his permanent move to New York City, John Lennon sold Tittenhurst Park to his friend and bandmate Ringo Starr in 1973. Among his renovations, Ringo updated the recording studio and rented it out to professional musicians who recorded there throughout the 1970s, such as Def Leppard, Judas Priest, Whitesnake, and the Tourists. Ringo also used the estate as the location of several music videos. Following his marriage to Barbara Bach, Ringo and his new wife made Tittenhurst Park their home until 1988 when he sold it to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Abu Dhabi. This Volume showcases the extraordinary estate from 1973 until contemporary times.
