Every kid needs to escape from high school at some point. Joe needs it bad: his dad died and his mom is kind of a mess. So, he forges a field trip form to get away for the day. But where he ends up, he never would have expected.He's not the only one.
There's Tiff, a girl who reads a lot, and Louis, a kid that thinks he's from the 'hood, but he's just a mama's boy who enjoys his stupid snack food. These three end up in deep space trying to save an alien species, rescue their teacher from execution and get back home.
