I have written an approximately 25,000-word non-fiction book, which is appropriate for the Christian book category. The book tells the story of twenty women in the bible. Bible references are cited before each monologue for the readers convenience. Each monologue is written in first person and tells the story of each woman as well as their impact during the biblical time they lived. Because the monologue about the woman "Rahab" mentions that she was a prostitute and laid with men for money, I decided it would be appropriate to recommend the book beginning for age thirteen plus.
Each monologue is an easy read and simplifies the story about each woman featured. There are very few books of its type available for purchase. Therefore, I feel that many churches and Christians would desire to own a copy.
My desire is for the reader to feel they have obtained a more intimate knowledge of the person, as well as a clearer understanding of their impact on the Christian faith. The book can be a valuable supplement to bible study. The monologues can also be useful for auditions for theatrical events.
