Understanding Theism 101 is the first book in the Biblical Thinking series. Designed to introduce Christian readers to the concept of worldviews, Understanding Theism 101 is meant to enlighten people of all worldviews by explaining why Christians do the things we do, and how we think about the world in which we live. Written with extreme care for all worldview positions, Darrin Crow offers a series of short essays arranged around major worldview presuppositions. The focus of this book is upon biblical theism, and the author explains a broader understanding of theism and other worldviews for an audience that would not be familiar with these important topics. The intelligent, scholarly, and highly inclusive text is sure to open the minds of many readers. The author's conversational, easy-going writing style and sense of humor are sure to both enlighten and give readers a few chuckles along the way. Darrin Crow is the founding pastor of HEART of Junction, a church in Grand Junction, Colorado. Darrin has worked on college campuses for his entire adult life. He has served as a missionary to students at Colorado Mesa University since 1986, and it was with about a dozen of his students serving as the core group that HEART of Junction was planted in 1998. For eighteen years Darrin taught Worldviews, Ethics, and a variety of Biblical Studies classes at Colorado Christian University as an adjunct professor. Darrin has earned degrees from Colorado Christian University and Regis University. Darrin is supported in life and ministry by his family. His wife, Stephanie excels in children's ministries and lives to take her friends to the lake for paddleboarding. His son, Liesen, leads music at HoJ, and his daughter, Blythe, leads in youth ministry and serves as the Founding Director of She Has A Name (shehasaname.info), a ministry to young women in Kenya.
