In a world of vampires, werewolves, and humans, property lays its foot on the humans. Some of them are kings and queens. They rule their country with an iron fist. Some are rich and very wealthy and have their noses held high and mighty. The others are middle-class civilians, households that earn between two-thirds and double, day-in and day-out jobs. The unfortunate ones are the poor ones who sleep in the streets.
