The advance made in Celery Culture within the last ten years has not been marked with any radical changes, although we have learned how to more successfully handle considerable acreage with profit, largely owing to improvements in implements.
The problem of converting the mucky soil in apparent wastes into wealth producing soil, has been solved by judicious drainage, fertilizing, tillage, and irrigation. This has been demonstrated not only in Northern Illinois, Michigan, and Eastern United States, but down in the hummocks of Florida.
