Vitamin E is best summed up as the ignored vitamin. I feel like Christopher Nolan for being able to bring this story full circle. Self-praise aside, vitamin E truly is the ignored vitamin.
Despite the enormous potential benefits in scenarios ranging from respiratory infections to pregnancy, the lack of clinical evidence and research is severely lacking. Given so many new advancements in the medical world, vitamin E is just not a priority. Particularly damning for vitamin E has been the somewhat circumstantial study about increased mortality. That has off-put many doctors and patients alike; however, it will not be surprising if a more conclusive study down the line can refute the claims of this study.
Given the lack of documented side effects, we can safely recommend maintaining adequate vitamin E levels to help fight off the deadly virus taking over the world as well as acquiring the numerous other potential benefits of vitamin E.
