Anyone who reads Hrant Dink's texts immediately sees that he was a radical in the good sense. The texts tell of the fact that another world is possible. He spoke about headscarves and the Kurdish problem, about Turkey and the European Union, and of course about Armenians. The texts in this selection are almost exclusively from the newspaper AGOS, which Dink founded, and were written between May 1996 and January 2007. Hrant Dink did not only write reports, commentaries and analyses. He was very fond of writing stories that had happened, telling about his life and the lives of other Armenians. These pieces act like parables. They leave room for the reader to empathize and time to draw his own conclusions. In these texts it becomes clear how much Hrant Dink trusted in the "seed of words". Second, modified and expanded edition.
