In 1945, an American military cargo plane crashes in the Black Forest, plummeting the soldiers amid enemy forces. Determined to rescue his men, the brutal Major Johnson (Mickey Rourke) deploys a squad of elite soldiers on a covert rescue operation. Yet the mission quickly goes awry as the team encounters sinister signs lingering in the forest that suggest a force more powerful than the Nazis may be lurking in the dark.
