2020. What a year! Despite the pandemic (or maybe because of it), WDM Publishing had a fulfilling year. They're excited to share the short fiction they published during those most unusual months.
The WDM authors tended to combat the isolation and bleakness of real life events by writing lighter tales. Deb Logan wrote early reader and middle grade stories, while Debbie Mumford looked forward into mankind's adventures in deep space.
This volume opens with a sweet romance, moves into the realm of young childhood, before exploring the far reaches of space through the eyes of both adult explorers and a preteen girl living on a space station. Finally, the anthology ends with two very different contemporary fantasies.
2020 was a year like no other, but it still produced some great fiction. WDM Publishing hopes you enjoy the year's stories.
