What happens when a ten year old who cares a little too much about the world's waning safe water supply realizes that his teenage sister may be the world's biggest water waster? For Matthew Edison Jowell the challenges are daunting. He tries blaming. Shaming. And, eventually educating. Nothing seems to work until he channels his inner Steve Jobs and discovers how to tap the forces of nature. Then his sister, her friends and Matthew all get a bit of a Wet-ucation. This short chapter book stems from the 2016 Make a Splash Water Festival in the Cinnaminson, NJ School District. The purpose of the festival is to promote awareness, appreciation, knowledge, and stewardship of water resources. The purpose of this story is to do the same while providing a fun and interesting read about relationships. To get inspired, the author brainstormed with Mrs. Barker's 4th Grade Class at Eleanor Rush Intermediate School. The class's enthusiasm, personalities and creativity influenced the development of plot and character.
