This politically incorrect sermon is designed to provide a 'whack upside the head' for Christians and non-believers alike, who try to rationalize (read: ration lies) how God feels about the murder of these innocent children, and modern forms of idolatry. We call them out on their techniques by parsing words, wresting (twisting) the meaning of the scriptures, and bumper sticker politics.
While we decry the sin of abortion and the sins of those who close their eyes to it, we also invite all those who need to repent of these horrible sexual sins to come to Christ and be forgiven.
This invitation is tender, and offers healing to the hearts and minds of women and men everywhere, burdened by the guilt associated with the sin of abortion.
