The Lord inspired me to write this book. One Sunday afternoon while watching one of the TV ministries, the announcer talked about the Prayer of Jabez book. He exclaimed that one scripture became the bases for a best selling book. At that moment, the Lord placed in my spirit an idea to write a book and entitle it, "When Boaz Comes - Be Ready and Prepared". Immediately, I began writing and continued late into the night. For many nights thereafter, I awoke usually around 3 am, and wrote. I interviewed single women, divorced women, ladies in long term relationships, (I called these Ladies in Waiting). In addition, I interviewed those who opted to live with their partners without the benefit of the marriage covenant. These relationships were referred to as "Playing House". Later, the Lord instructed me to interview men with similar circumstances and entitle this, "When Eve Comes - Be Ready and Prepared". This would become a 2-in-1 book. I asked pertinent questions such as, why do you think you are still single? Is marriage becoming obsolete? Why do you think your marriage failed and what part did you play in the failure? I took their testimonies and I am sharing them with the reader in the hope that you may learn from others. Also, if you are single or involved in any of the situations mentioned, and would like to marry or remarry, you may avoid or steer clear of the pitfalls other have encountered, Read the testimonies entrusted to me.
