Remos didn't remember a life without hardship, but then neither had he any memory of his parents, or come to that of even having seen an adult of his own kind. At night, when the guards were less attentive, the older children of the camp told stories of better times; but maybe that was all they were, just stories... As he walks with the other children towards the fields where they are forced to work each day by their cruel masters, Remos stumbles across an ancient artifact of a long forgotten civilisation. Now he must confront the reality of his birthright and discover the meaning of the strange but vivid dreams he starts to have. After a chance encounter with two of their elders, Remos and his best friend Sooni decide they must escape before they are separated forever.
