it was an intimate reunion indeed, since they were the same group. The idea was that the group would track uptempo material as

label and handle
ballads

on the
Modern
label (with LPs being issued on

), all three imprints falling under
the Bihari Brothers
umbrella. Whatever the group's name (they also recorded as
the Rocketeers
-- two tracks thus attributed are included here), they were top-notch, one of the best
R&B
vocal groups the West Coast had to offer during the 1950s. This second volume in

, but just barely, and includes gems like
"Why Don't You Write Me,"
