In most cases, the protagonist, or main character, has a major flaw such as greed, naivety, and pride. These negative character traits often lead to their demise. This Folktale reminds us of our duty toward our fellow human beings. It touches on how pride and arrogance can impact our lives. It also explores the negative effects of vanity. It stands out because of its wide audience: it spans different generations. It is a great book to share with your entire family; it acknowledges the Christian principle about relationships.
